Re: Billy Bob's Bachelor Party

All three of us had fun. There were toys galore and a bit of run and gun at the end, just to liven things up. Went out for dinner and then hit a few bars but not late cause some of us were really tired from the late previous night, the early morning, and the running. (Well, mostly the first two.). W...

Thanks for sharing. We had a nice walkabout at National's and enjoyed the conversation in the park. Hope it all helps.

Oyster Run, Sept 23, 2018

We have started reserving campsites for the Oyster Run. Deception Pass State Park has a section called Quarry Pond on the west side of Highway 20. I will include map links below. As you enter the Quarry Pond site and head around to your right there is a row of campsites starting at number 301. The p...

Did you know that the AR-15 is the only rifle in the world that can be fired in full semi-automatic mode?

Re: 20th Birthday party, March 3 2018

Thanks for the updates. In the future it would be great if there could be more timely responses to these questions, given that we have to tell the caterer well in advance how many to plan for. There should be enough so see you all there.

Re: A dangerous anti-gun bill

Update: SB 6620 was amended in committee to remove all references to "tactical features". This means that it would now prohibit anyone under the age of 21 from purchasing any semi-automatic rifle. This is worse, in case you were wondering. The ultimate goal, in my opinion, is to ban guns. One more s...

A dangerous anti-gun bill

http://lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/biennium/2017-18/Pdf/Bills/Senate%20Bills/6620.pdf This bill claims to provide safer schools but would ban the purchase of a magazine fed semiautomatic rifle to adults under the age of 21 just because it has "tactical features". Same rifle, but with a compensator or an...

Re: ABATE swap meet, March 25, Monroe

Update. Chapter 1 has reserved four spaces. Two of them will be set up for Chapter 1 product sales, the other two will be available for National Product Sales and a hangout area for the club (a nice way of saying stop blocking the front of our booth so that customers can't get in). Hope to see you t...

Assault weapon ban - you may wish to write a letter

Just passed out of its first Senate committee in Olympia. Probably be worth writing a letter on this one and telling your friends as its pretty bad.

Letter to local reps about firearms law

And here's the one I am sending to Susan DelBene, our Congress rep. I don't have much hope, but all we can do is try. Representative Susan DelBene 2442 Rayburn HOB Washington, DC 20515-4701 October 29, 2017 Dear Representative DelBene, I am writing in opposition to any further restrictions on law ab...

Letter to Congress about firearms law

Thought you might be interested in seeing what I wrote. This is to Speaker Paul Ryan. I have written separate (and shorter) letters to our local reps but I don't expect much from them. Still worth writing so that at the least they can't claim that there was overwhelming support for more gun laws, ev...
