ABATE Swap Meet, Monroe, March 26

Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Chapter 1 will be there and set up for patches and other memorabilia. Chapter 6 usually shows. Other members from around the state often stop by to say hi and chat. Looking forward to seeing everyone and checking out the great deals on the parts we need to get ready for ...

Re: 1966 USMC All Correct Garande

Thanks Cheech. I had similar thoughts but the Garand not being a specialty of mine decided to forgo commenting. As you say though, a good price for this rifle regardless. Some day I intend to add an M-1 to my collection of M-14 style and various other historic military rifles, just not right now.

Re: Protocal

A bit long? Holy bad word. It's over two hours. I like their colors, though. Black and gold.

Just a note, Black Sabbath MC, been around for over forty years, has 24 Chapters. By those standards we're not doing too bad.

Whitehouse gunsmithing regulations

For those of you who haven't seen this story, the State Department recently decided to regulate gunsmiths. That means that anyone who works on guns will have to cough up about $2500 for a license above and beyond all the regulations put out by the BATFE. Here's the story: https://www.nraila.org/arti...

Re: Chapter 3 CVI at Highlands Middle School

As a teacher I can say that nothing would terrify me more than having a bunch of CVI members loose in my classroom.

Just kidding, of course. Well done. What an opportunity.

Re: 2016 National Run Draft Agenda

Just looking at Google Maps for the campground suggested in the flyer. It appears that there is no shade available at all. Is this correct?

If so, please let us know in advance so that we can make arrangements as a Chapter to bring over shade providing tents or canopies in a truck.

Thanks.

Re: Wenatchee Business Journal

Well done Rowboat. You might start thinking (in your spare time) about how to use a phone app to schedule and collect fees. This has been tried elsewhere and the taxi companies fought it, but the customers liked it. They download the app and when they need a taxi they request it on their phone inste...
