{Poem} Panic Attack

Post by Tasha Wolf » Mon Jul 30, 2018 11:39 am

I stop and look around,
Where am I?
Panic sets in and paralyzes me,
What is going on?

Fighting the emotions,
Why do they come?
Unbidden, unwanted,
Always haunting me.

Fear of what’s out there,
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of being me,
Fear of what I know.
Fear of what I feel,
Fear of what I’ve become.

Where do I go from here?

Thanks for sharing. We had a nice walkabout at National's and enjoyed the conversation in the park. Hope it all helps.
